Underground 150
To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the London Underground, the London Transport Museum curated a special exhibition drawing on its world-renowned collection.
The design challenge was to create a cohesive visual theme that marked the milestone with impact while honouring the Museum's rich archive. A series of illustrations were developed inspired by posters from the Museum's collection, simplified into a bold black-and-gold palette. Gold was used throughout to highlight key pieces from the collection, with the identity applied across banners, exhibition graphics, and merchandise.
